Meditations by Fr. Joseph Kentenich, Father and Founder, Schoenstatt Movement
The rosary trail has been a beautiful project of the Schoenstatt family of Austin. The Schoenstatt family came together not only to clear and prepare the lands but also to sponsor the different mysteries. Each one of the 20 mysteries has been sponsored by different members of our Schoenstatt family. In addition to the sponsored mysteries, we have dedicated several mysteries to some of our long-time and most generous supporters in gratitude for their ongoing support of our mission.
The trail is open to all to come and pray, or just to find a quiet place to meditate. Several meditation stations are created throughout the trail to give you a place to sit and enjoy the beauty of the land. The official trail entrance is located just west of the Movement house, however, you may choose to begin at any point or with any of the mysteries. See picture below.
Please come and enjoy the trail and this new addition to our sacred grounds. Although we love all of God’s creatures please do not bring dogs on the trail or to the Shrine.
